Bale Mountains Route
Day 1: Fly to Goba & Dynamic Foothills
- Morning: Board a short, morning flight from Addis Ababa to the Robe Airport in Goba. Meet your naturalist guide and check into your lodge.
- Afternoon: Explore the lush juniper-Hagenia forests around Dinsho, the park’s headquarters.
- Evening: Look for endemic mountain nyala, Menelik’s bushbucks, and warthogs grazing in the clearings before sunset.
Day 2: The Sanetti Plateau & Ethiopian Wolves
- Morning: Ascend the winding mountain road up to the otherworldly Sanetti Plateau, standing at an altitude of over 4,000 meters.
